For our 2022 Oslo conference we invite paper proposals on topics related to modern and contemporary Japanese society, including politics and international relations, economy and business, sociology and anthropology, history, popular culture, literature, religion, and art. Proposals from scholars outside Scandinavia are also most welcome.
