Description

Norwich Business School at University of East Anglia held a photo exhibition for students and the general public on the accounting profession and the people behind it in 2013 and 2014 in The Forum, Millennium Library, Norwich and also in the Foyer, Thomas Paine Study Centre, University of East Anglia main campus. The main purpose of the exhibition was to raise awareness in students and the general public about the importance of accounting in business, the value that accounting adds to communities and the people that make it all happen. The exhibition gave students the benefit of seeing accounting activities and accountants in real life without the need to have field trips. The exhibition have complemented the students’ understanding of accounting as a profession and have immersed them into the accounting office environment. The exhibition also gave the general public a taste of what accounting means, the people that add value and the benefits for communities. This event was in collaboration with the accountancy firm Lovewell Blake, I hope that will run in the future years as well and I am proud to present students and the general public the image of a representative 21st century Norfolk accounting practice.
