ESRC funded seminar series concerned with the ‘Green Economy’

I have jointly led an ESRC funded seminar series concerned with the ‘Green Economy’.  Paper-givers have included scholars from across the UK and beyond and also practitioners representing organisations such as the Ecology Building Society, Pennine Prospects, English Nature, the Green Investment Bank, Terrafiniti and other think-tank organisations such as Change that Matters, Volans, and Chatham House.

The associated activities (more seminars and workshops) continued for several years, funded by other sources such as SAMs and UACES, until my co-authored edited book (with Nicholas Vasilakos) was published in 2021 (i.e. Fairbrass, J. and Vasilakos, N. (2021) (Eds). ‘Emerging Governance of a Green Economy: Cases of European Implementation.’ Cambridge University Press: Cambridge. DOI: 10: 1017/9781108780933. That contained contributions from the original ESRC seminar series that we ran during 2013 and 2014.
