The 'Racing in the East' exhibition was hosted by the Peterborough Panthers Speedway Supporters' Club. The exhibition formed the centrepiece of an evening which enabled supporters to come together in the absence of regular speedway. It occurred against the backdrop of the on-going 'Save Peterborough Speedway' campaign. The event was promoted by Speedway Star magazine, the Peterborough Telegraph, BBC Radio Cambridgeshire, and the club's social media channels.
