Dr Katie Jenkins took part in an event at the UK Pavilion at COP27 titled 'Science for adaptation action: building climate resilience through weather and climate services'. The panel discussion brought together leading experts from around the world to discuss how weather and climate services can inform adaptation action. Panelists shared best practice and real-world examples of how governments, regional actors and civil society can use scientific evidence to improve adaptation planning and build resilience at all levels.
