Description

This project builds on my GCRF UEA QR project “Bridging Communities: The Role of Translators and Interpreters in the Process of Guaranteeing the Language Rights of Speakers of Indigenous Languages in Latin America” (2019-2021).
The project is a partnership between Dr Cecilia Rossi (British Centre for Literary Translation (BCLT), UEA), Dr Virginia Unamuno (Centre for the Study of Language in Society (CELES), Universidad de San Martín (UNSAM) and Dr Miguel Ángel Verón (director of the HEI Instituto Técnico Superior de Estudios Culturales y Lingüísticos Yvy Marãe'ŷ, Paraguay) and the Committee for the translation from Indigenous languages, part of the Argentine Association of Translators and Interpreters (AATI).
