With a view to informing the work of the UN Human Rights Committee in drafting General Comment 37 on the right of peaceful assembly (Article 21 ICCPR), the European Centre for Non-Profit Law (ECNL) worked together with the Centre of Governance & Human Rights (CGHR) at the University of Cambridge and the University of East Anglia Law School to convene an expert workshop focusing on the potential for exercising this right online. Participants included members of the UN Human Rights Committee.
