The Last Journey of the Magna Carta King

Description

Commissioned to advise upon and appear in a programme focusing on the last days of King John's life. This programme emerged out of my work on King John, especially my 2010 article ‘King John’s testament and the last days of his reign’, English Historical Review, 125 (2010), 505-28. This research article took John's last testament and offered a definitive edition and a detailed commentary on the final days of John's life and on will-making in the twelfth and early thirteenth centuries.
