Genetic data products for avian migratory connectivity

Dataset

Description

This repository stores data used in: Somveille M, Bay RA, Smith TB, Marra PP & Ruegg KC (2021) A general theory of avian migratory connectivity. Ecology Letters.

Data stored here are the origin probability surfaces for individuals obtained from genomic data and used to map empirical migratory connectivity for four species of migratory birds: Yellow Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, Wilson's Warbler and Willow Flycatcher. The genetic data and methodology for mapping migratory connectivity using genetic markers is described in detail in Bay et al. (2021), Ruegg et al. (2014), Ruegg et al. (2020) and Ruegg et al. (2021).

High-resolution genetic markers data was compiled by the Bird Genoscape Project (www.birdgenoscape.org)
