Description and analysis of 77 cases of public engagement with the use of algorithms in public services in the UK 2013-2020. Analysis includes the kinds of public engagement represented, the public service domains they cover, the kinds of citizens engaged, the technical focus of the engagement, and the potential benefits and risks of these approaches raised in the engagements.
