Organisation profile
Our group is dedicated to teaching, scholarship and education research in biosciences to support excellence in pedagogy across the School of Biological Sciences and the Faculty of Science at UEA.
Members of the group collaborate with colleagues from other Schools across UEA and with external organisations to further learning and teaching strategies in science and ensure that we continue to develop as a centre of excellence for bioscience teaching, scholarship and innovation, in the UK and internationally.
We work closely with external organisations that focus on pedagogy in UK Higher Education Institutes, such as the HEA, QAA, and Advance HE. Professional and learned societies provide important contacts, and we are members of a wide range of external societies, including: Royal Society of Biology; Biochemical Society; British Biophysical Society; Genetics Society; Institute of Biomedical Science; Microbiology Society.
