Gender and Its Intersections is a dynamic, cross- and interdisciplinary research group at UEA, uniting scholars from all four faculties, with expertise spanning art history, business, culture, development, economics, education, film, health, history, law, literature, media, policy, politics, psychology, social work, and sociology. Affiliated academics explore gender both as a central focus and in intersection with other identities and systems. The group showcases UEA’s depth in gender studies, fostering collaboration and visibility across disciplines. By connecting researchers with shared interests, the group aims to spark innovative research, develop intersectional and inclusive feminist praxis, amplify impact, and strengthen the university’s teaching provision in gender-focused scholarship.
