Purpose:
Bring together different pools of knowledge and expertise both inside and outside the university; interdisciplinary theory building that bridges different communities of practice and a wide range of potential beneficiaries including community organisers, community building organisations, hyperlocal groups themselves, national policy, voluntary sector organisations and, at a different level, impacts on health outcomes and inequalities. Understand activities and impact of grassroots associations in East Anglia and beyond:
- on the health and wellbeing of people
- on creativity, culture and society
- on social welfare
- on commerce and the economy
- on public policy, law and services
- on practitioners and delivery of professional services, enhanced performance or ethical practice
- on understanding, learning and participation
