Organisation profile
We have a strong international reputation for our research and students are taught by leading experts in a broad range of topics in mathematics.
We are extremely proud of the quality of our research.
We have robust research links and co-operation with mathematicians in the rest of Europe, Russia, the United States, Africa and Australia, and a specialised library housed in our graduate common room, as well as a well-equipped computing laboratory. Our research is organised into four groups. We hold regular seminars in both Pure and Applied Mathematics.
