Biography

I am a PhD researcher in American Studies with a focus on environmental humanities. My project is funded by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities.

My research critically examines the scholarly works of leading women environmentalist writers based in North America, placing Indigenous and Euro-American scholars in direct conversation. I am interested in the ways in which women environmentalists challenge and oppose the systemic violences of settler colonialism, heteropatriarchy, and extractive capitalism in their writings.

I have given papers at international conferences and symposiums across the UK, in Hungary and online.
