Biography
I joined the UEA in June 2019 to teach subjects related to digital business. I focus upon the improvement of business functions, business models, business processes supported by leveraging digital technologies, and understanding their combined impact.
Before joining the UEA I worked at several Universities, mostly in the UK, but also Europe. For example, a Senior Lecturer in Business Information Systems at the University of Portsmouth (UK), a Visiting Lecturer at Obuda University (Hungary), and a Visiting Tutor at the University of Reading Informatics Research Centre, Henley Business School (UK). I have also been involved in consultancy, training, and knowledge transfer partnerships with business.

Teaching Interests
My teaching interests relate to developing and using different technologies that support digital business. I have extensive teaching experience in:
- Software development with the Unified Modelling Language, and software programming in C# and VB.Net;
- Customer Relationship Management/Enterprise Resource Planning;
- Service-based Digital Platforms;
- E-Business/E-Commerce;
- Relational Databases.
Key Research Interests
I carry out scholarly activity that relates to the technology required for the continual digitalisation of business. I use semiotic theory, sociological paradigms, and contemporary software development practices. I followed this line of research throughout my MPhil and PhD. I have published several, and have other planned research papers, in this area of research. The areas that I specialise in include:
- Applied semiotics;
- Requirements Engineering;
- Web services and Service Oriented Architecture;
- App development.
