Akiko Tomatsuri lectures on Japanese language, culture and society, and translation. Akiko’s primary interest is in music and society, specialising in ancient Greek music. Her current research is on the reception of ancient Greek and Roman literature and culture in Japan. It seeks to combine her knowledge of music, Classics, and translation. She is also working on a project about the use of translation technology for language learners.
