Biography

I am an Associate Professor in Innovation Management at the Norwich Business School (NBS). 

 

I am also a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

 

I was Associate Dean for Internationalisation in the Social Sciences Faculty between 2015-2019.

I gained my PhD in Technology and Innovation Management from the University of Sussex at the Science and technology Policy Research (SPRU). 

Prior to joining the NBS I worked for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) designing and implementing technological projects in the fields of Internet, Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and Renewable Energy mainly in Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Key Research Interests

My main research interests are currently focused on the socio-economic, ethical as well as their regulatory and policy related issues regarding the introduction and use of Machine Learning and/or Artificial Intelligence tools in service industries such as banking and education.

Lastly, I have contributed to the content of the first UEA's Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) called "The Secret Power of Brands". The course is currently followed by 50,000 students worldwide.
