Biography

I am an AHRC-CHASE funded postgraduate researcher undertaking a PhD in Politics. I have a BA in Politics and an MA in International Relations from the University of East Anglia. My PhD project centers on women’s anti-nuclear resistance in the Pacific region, with a focus on how everyday anti-nuclear activism challenges conventional understandings of nuclear security.

Career

I have a professional background as a hairdresser and I have held two internship positions as a research assistant. Most recently, I worked as a caseworker for the Member of Parliament for Suffolk Coastal before returning to academia in October 2025.
