Personal profile
Academic Background
I obtained my PhD in Physical Oceanography in November 2016 at the Laboratoire d’Océanographie et du Climat – Expérimentation et Approches Numériques (LOCEAN), Paris. Further, I had two postdoctoral research contracts, in the Laboratoire des sciences du climat et de l'environnement (2017-2018) and in the Commissariat à l'énergie atomique (2019), where I worked on the application of Machine Learning to reconstruct the ocean pCO2 and to improve the ocean model parameterization.
Key Research Interests
I am interested in understanding of the carbon variability in the ocean and development of ocean models. My research focuses on the improvement of parameterizations in ocean models using Machine Learning techniques and observational data:
- improvement of organic matter sinking;
- improvement of eddy parameterization.
