Academic Background

I am a post-doctoral researcher at the School of International Development at UEA. My PhD research focuses on dam-induced displacement, particularly the land tenure dynamics of self-directed resettlement, looking at the case of the Manasir people displaced by the Merowe Dam in Northern Sudan. I hold an MSc in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security and a BA in International Development.
