Ben Evans is a Postgraduate Researcher at the School of Law and a member of the Centre for Competition Policy (CCP). He holds an LLM in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law.

Ben's doctoral research is focussed on the problem of data advantage and explores the interplay between information technology, intellectual property and competition law. He is particularly interested in the development of EU laws relating to data and information, the regulation of digital markets, and digital intellectual property law.

Ben is a member of the Society for Computers and Law (SCL) and a regular contributor to Computers and Law. He is also a member of the SCL Book Review panel.
