I currently work on continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) in older inpatients with type 2 diabetes and cognitive impairment as part of my PhD. My master's project was on physical activity avoidance behaviour with children living with type 1 diabetes, who predominantly use hybrid closed-loop (HCL) and CGM. Prior to my PhD journey, I worked as a self-employed dietitian for 5 years in Izmir, Turkey. 

Since my first year in Norwich Medical School, I work as an Associate Tutor in UEA. I facilitated Problem Based Learning (PBL) sessions for all-years MBBS students. I also enjoyed teaching and marking evidence-based literature review in School of Health Sciences (HSC) for Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) students. I also worked as a Senior Research Associate in HSC to cover a staff for 3 months. These roles besides my research have been amazing working and teaching experience to me.
