Academic Background

In the academic year 2016/17, I did a B.Sc. Mathematics at Uppsala University in Sweden. The next academic year, 2017/18, I did an M.Sc. Mathematics at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. I am now in the first year of my PhD, under supervision of Dr Robert Gray, working on combinatorial group and semigroup theory.

Key Research Interests and Expertise

I am currently a PhD student under the supervision of Dr Robert Gray, working on the project titled "The word problem in combinatorial group and semigroup theory". My research interests hence naturally include combinatorial group and semigroup theory, but I also enjoy more general group theory, automata theory, algebraic topology and Lie group theory.
