Academic Background

Dr Wang is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the School of Computing Sciences, University of East Anglia (UEA). He received his PhD degree in Computer Science from KAUST in 2023. Prior to that, he got a Bachelor degree in Automation from Tsinghua University.

Dr Wang's research mainly focuses on Computer Graphics, Geometry Processing, Computational Design and Fabrication. He has expertise in geometric computing for 3D mesh representations.  He is also interested in the interdisciplinary areas of graphics, vision, learning representations, and bioinformatics. He has published in ACM SIGGRAPH, ACM Transactions on Graphics, and Computer-Aided Design. 

Dr Wang always welcomes self-motivated students to join the group and conduct research with his supervision. The UEA offers many research opportunities, projects, and scholarships.
