Dr Wang is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the School of Computing Sciences, University of East Anglia. He received his PhD degree in Computer Science from KAUST. Prior to that, he got a Bachelor degree in Automation (Robotics) from Tsinghua University.

Dr Wang's research mainly focuses on Computer Graphics, Geometry Processing, Computational Design and Fabrication. He has expertise in geometric computing for 3D mesh representations.  He is also interested in the interdisciplinary areas of graphics, vision, and learning representations. He has published in ACM SIGGRAPH, ACM Transactions on Graphics, and Computer-Aided Design.
