Academic Background

I am a Rheumatologist with a clinical and research interest in primary systemic vasculitis. I am a full-time clinician at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with honorary links to the university. I graduated from Saurashtra University in India. I have a Masters from the University of Oxford, a doctorate in medicine from Saurashtra University and a doctorate in philosophy from the University of East Anglia. I am currently working on the following projects -

1. Epidemiology of primary systemic vasculitis in Norfolk

2. Validation of phantoms as a teaching resource for Giant Cell Arteritis ultrasonography

3. Artificial Intelligence to recognise static ultrasonography images of transverse images of arteries for Giant Cell Arteritis

4. EULAR recommendations for the management of PMR and LVV
