Chrissy is an experienced Advanced Public Health Analyst with over five years’ experience working in a Local Authority, in social care and Public Health. Here she has led the health inequalities and healthy lifestyles analytics workstreams. Also throughout the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked to support the identification of outbreaks to contain the spread of the virus. This allowed her to see the disparity in infections and mortality first-hand, which has led her to do a PhD on the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the social determinants of health in children.
She will be completing her PhD part-time whilst she continues to work at Norfolk County Council in her analytical role. This will allow her to work at the forefront of research and local government, ensuring local policies are informed by research.
