Academic Background

I am interested in the associations between landscape structure, anthropogenic disturbances (e.g., fires), and spatio-temporal variations in biotic community compostion, particularly the traits that modulate species' responses to habitat disturbance. I also hold a longstanding interest in herpetology, although my current work is largely conducted at the ecosystem scale using multi-taxa datasets.
