Career
Dr Coralie Roll is an Associate Professor in Nursing Studies in the school of Health Sciences at UEA. She has expertise in curriculum design, meeting professional body standards and quality assurance requirements. Coralie is currently the School of Health Sciences Director for PSRB Quality Assurance and Compliance. She is also the School of Health Sciences lead for Apprenticeships, and the designated NMC Official Correspondent.
Coralie has previously held school roles as Course Director for BSc Adult Nursing, Professional Lead for Nursing, and CourseDirector for FdSc Health Studies (Nursing Associate Apprenticeship).
Coralie has been a registered nurse for over 30 years, and has completed post registration qualifications in Midwifery and a BSc Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (School Nurse). Coralie has an MSc in Clinical Research (NIHR), and has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Education.
Prior to working at UEA, Coralie worked in the NHS for 25 years, initially as a Health Care Assistant before commencing Nurse training. For the majority of her clinical career she worked in the community as a NHS School Nurse and Locality Team Lead for School Nursing and Health Visiting. Her work within her school nurse role fostered her professional interest in the nurse role within delivery of health promotion and public health.
Coralie is a published author, having co-authored 'Health Promotion for Nursing Students'. The second edition of this book was released in February 2023.
