I qualified as a Registered Nurse (Adult) in 1999 and worked in a variety of clinical settings including community care, respiratory, A&E and minor injuries/illness. In 2006 I joined the School of Nursing at Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) where I taught/led a number of modules including Human Anatomy & Physiology and Pathophysiology & Medicines Management. In 2018 I became Programme Director for MSc Physician Associate Studies within the Institute of Medical Sciences at CCCU. In 2022 I joined the School of Health Sciences at UEA as a Lecturer in Nursing Sciences. My research interests include consumer attitudes to healthcare, healthcare policy/reform and professional education.
