Academic Background

Dimitris is a Lecturer in Operations Management at Norwich Business School. He is a graduate of the Department of Mathematics of the University of Athens and he holds a M.Sc. in Statistics and Operations Research from the same Department and University. Dimitris received his Ph.D. from the Department of Management Science and Technology at Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He has been awarded a scholarship from the University of Athens, as a reward for excellence in his master’s studies and a Fellowship for his Ph.D. studies from AUEB.

His research interests lie primarily in the fields of Mathematical Modelling (mainly Game Theory), Optimisation, and its applications in Operations and Supply Chain Management. His research has been published in high impact peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences. Dimitris has also participated in various Greek, EU, and industry-funded research projects.

Prior to joining the Norwich Business School (University of East Anglia), he had worked at the University of Bath (School of Management), University of Liverpool (Online Programmes), and Cranfield University (School of Management).
