My reserach interests are in behaviour change towards sustainability. Specifically what are the psychological mechanisms that lead to green behviours - especially in the workplace. I am particularly interested in values, morals, motivation and commitment in this area.
Associate with Centre for climate and social transformations (cast.ac.uk) and the Tyndall Centre.
I am accepting PhD students looking at sustainability transitions and people. Mainly focusing on organisational behaviour, however I am interested in multiple areas that crossover discipline boundaries of people and sustainability. Collective green behaviour, motivational and normative theories, institutional logics, culture and climate.
I am interested in mixed-method research, interviews, surveys, quasi-experiments, and focus groups/workshops. Particularly any research on 'employee green behaviours', and novel research into environmental sustainability and future studies.
