Personal profile

Academic Background

I'm broadly interested in understanding the huge diversity of ageing patterns across the tree of life. In particular, how parental traits influence the life histories of future generations though ageing, diet, and their environment. Primarily using the burying beetle (Nicrophorus vespilloides), the nematode worm (C. elegans), the seed beetle (Callosobruchus maculatus), and the zebrafinch (Taeniopygia guttata). I’m also passionate about open science and increasing the reproducibility of research across ecology and evolutionary biology.
