I'm currently a Lecturer at the Norwich Business School (NBS) of the University of East Anglia (UEA), and a member of the Norwich Business School Accounting and Quantitative Methods Group. My former positions include Associate Professor at FUCAPE Business School (Brazil), Investment Analyst at Alphamar Investimentos (Brazil), Fraud Management Lead and Data Analyst at PayWithMyBank (acquired by Trustly, Brazil and US), Field Force Effectiveness Analyst at Novartis Pharmaceuticals (Central America and Caribbean), and Systems Analyst at Nestlé (Chocolates Garoto Business Unit, Brazil). I hold a PhD in Accounting and Management from FUCAPE Business School (BR) and a BEng in Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Espirito Santo (BR). I have taught mainly Corporate Finance, Valuation, and Econometrics for undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels.

My research interests include financial disclosure, earnings quality, corporate governance, and entrepreneurship. My PhD dissertation has been published in the Journal of Business, Finance & Accounting. I have papers in top tier Brazilian journals such as Journal of Business Management (Revista de Administração de Empresas - RAE) and Journal of Accounting and Organizations (Revista de Contabilidade e Organizações - RCO) and international journals like the International Entrepreneurship and Management Journal.

During my PhD, I was a visting research scholar at the Sam M. Walton College of Business (University of Arkansas, US) and Krannert School of Management (Purdue University, US). After graduating, I secured a position as a post-doctoral researcher at the Federal University of Espirito Santo (BR). I'm an Associate Editor at Review of Business Management (RBGN), and former Editor-in-Chief of Brazilian Business Review (BBR), top tier Brazilian journals publishing research in management, accounting & finance, and economics. I'm also actively involved with startups, being an investor at Freatz / Almoço Grátis, co-founder and board member at NossoBB, and co-founder and consultant at Upthinkr.
