Academic Background

Faith subsequently spent four years working as a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of Sussex.
Key Research Interests
My research broadly examines the causal and maintaining factors of child and adolescent anxiety and depression, with a focus on factors that could be targeted in prevention and early intervention.
I am currently pursuing areas of research related to the following:
- The relationship between sleep, anxiety and depression in adolescence, including mechanistic pathways and early intervention for sleep problems.
- The development and evaluation of school-based prevention and early intervention, including within Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs).
- The role of self-perceptions and prosociality in adolescent depression
