Personal profile
Biography
I joined Norwich Business School (NBS) at the University of East Anglia (UEA) as a Lecturer in November 2023 where I am a member of the Norwich Business School Strategy and Entrepreneurship Group. Prior to this role, I secured competitive ESRC funding for a Post-Doctoral Fellowship (UEA) where I actively engaged with local stakeholders and SMEs.
I hold a PhD in Management which explored the interplay between entrepreneurship and place in East Anglia (UEA, 2020). Additionally, I obtained a Master of Social Science Research Methods (UEA, 2015) and a BSc in Business Management (UEA, 2014).
My research interests are interdisciplinary, primarily focused on understanding how entrepreneurship and family business are influenced by economic sociology, incorporating fields such as regional development and political science. I specialise in qualitative research methods and I am particularly interested in exploring the sociological aspects of entrepreneurship, examining its broader forces for change within the local context.
