My PhD was on Homomorphisms between Specht modules of KLR algebras, supervised by Sinead Lyle.

I have since completed an Master's in Higher Education Practice, with the title "A university mathematics lecturer’s experience designing and implementing active-learning teaching sessions involving digital resources".

• 2025/26 - Module organiser and lecturer for Proofs and Limits.
• 2024/25 - Module organiser and lecturer for Mathematical Skills. The teaching of the module was redesigned in partnership with Owen Hooper, Elena Nardi and Irene Biza in EDU.
• 2023/24 - Module organiser and lecturer for Mathematical Skills.
• 2022/23 - Lecturing the Sets, Numbers & Proof part of Mathematical Skills. Set coursework for Computation and Modelling.
• 2021/22 - Lecturing the Python part of Maths for Scientists B. Running labs, drop-in support sessions and setting coursework for Computation and Modelling.
• 2020/21 - Lecturing the second half of the Group Theory portion of Algebra I. Running labs, drop-in support sessions and setting coursework for Computation and Modelling.

I have teaching responsibilites as a lecturer in Maths, whilst my role as a WPAL within SCI involves organising Outreach and working on Widening Participation initiatives, mainly in EMP and CMP.

I have been working with Mathematics Education researchers at the university, in particular looking at active learning and the use of digital resources in teaching.

I have a keen interest in card games, particularly games played with the tarot pack. Let me know if you want a game of cards!
