Georgios is an Associate Professor in Econometrics at UEA. He is interested in Econometrics pedagogy, and has been teaching Econometrics, including Statistics and Mathematics, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels for more than 15 years. Following his undergraduate studies in Economics and Business Administration at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2000-2005), Georgios completed an MSc in Financial Economics (2006) and a PhD in Economics (2011) at the University of Essex, with a focus on Econometrics. He then moved to UEA in 2011 as a lecturer, where he is currently an Associate Professor in Econometrics and also the Course Director of Undergraduate Studies. In terms of research, Georgios’ interests focus on microeconometric applications in models with limited dependent variables, and he has recently developed an interest in supply chain networks.

PhD Supervision Interests: Micro-econometric applications in the fields of labour, population and health economics.
