Academic Background
I am a postgraduate researcher in translation studies, funded by the UEA Faculty of Arts and Humanities Postgraduate Research Studentship. My research explores the coverage of social movements in the UK, US, and Chinese news media.

Career
Before starting my PhD in October 2020, I worked as a lecturer in English at South China Business College, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, China.
Besides, I was a freelance translator and interpreter for government agencies, international organisations and conferences, and multinational companies. I passed CATTI Translation Level 1 in 2017, the highest-level accreditation for professional translators in China and CATTI Interpreting Level 2 in 2015.
