Hattie studied pharmacy at the University of East Anglia (UEA) then completed her pre-registration year in community pharmacy with Boots. She worked in community pharmacy for two years before taking a role as a GP Clinical Pharmacist as part of the national pilot. Hattie is an independent prescriber and has also completed a diploma in Minor Illness. She continues to work in primary care where her role involves working closely with GPs to manage long-term conditions, running clinics, and medicines management.
Hattie joined the UEA pre-registration pharmacist training team in 2016 since when she has supported the delivery and development of the community pharmacy and minor illness teaching sessions and resources.
