Biography
Helen joined PPL in 2011 as a Lecturer in Media and Cultural Studies. Before that, Helen was an associate tutor in PSI, FTV and DEV.
Key Research Interests
Helen's research interests include gender, production culture and the creative industries. She has also published in the areas of fashion, costume, and celebrity culture.
Teaching Interests
Helen is the module organiser for:
- UG Consumer Culture & Society;
- UG Gender & Power;
- MA Media and Society;
- MA Studying Media.
- MA Gender and Power (forthcoming 2017/18)
She also teaches on UG Language and Gender
