Biography
Dr Assadi is a PhD student at the University of East Anglia and an Honorary Data Scientist at the Cardiology department in Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals. He graduated from medical school at MUST in Cairo, Egypt. He holds a Master's degree in Cardiovascular medicine from the University of Sheffield. Dr Assadi has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals. His current h-index is 4. He is trained in advanced post-processing methods of CMR, including volumes, scar, fibrosis and 4D flow CMR. He has joined the CMR team at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals to work on Artificial Intelligence. He is collaborating with the University of Sheffield, Leiden University (The Netherlands), and Pie Medical Imaging to translate novel technologies under the supervision of Dr Pankaj Garg at NNUH.
