Biography

Dr Assadi is a postgraduate researcher at the University of East Anglia and an Honorary Scientist at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. With a medical background and an MRes degree in Cardiovascular Medicine from the University of Sheffield, he specialises in advanced cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging post-processing methods, including volumes, scar, fibrosis and 4D flow CMR. His research focuses on developing advanced groundbreaking CMR techniques using Artificial intelligence (AI). Those innovative techniques will lead to more efficient diagnoses, better treatment decisions, and improved outcomes for patients with cardiovascular disease.
