Biography

Professor of Accounting in the Accounting, Finance and Governance (AFG) group in the School. My research interests include auditing, corporate governance and regulation, especially in the financial services industry. I act as module organiser for the third year module, Auditing & Accountability.

In NBS I act as chair of examiners across all our taught programmes. At University level I act as Academic Director of Partnerships. I am also act as deputy chair of the Senate Student Discipline Committee.

 

Professional Activities

As Academic Director of Partnerships I have significant interactions with UEA validated partners in East Anglia (especially City College Norwich, University Campus Suffolk, Easton & Otley College, INTO), nationally (Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts) and internationally (Institute of Health and Social Care Studies, Guernsey).

I have examined PhD theses at Essex, Oxford Brookes and Manchester Universities and acted as a taught programmes external examiner at Universities including: BPP University College, Durham, Kent, Kingston and Newcastle.
