Academic Background

Ian graduated from University Campus Suffolk with a Bsc (Hons) in Psychology and Criminology in 2012 and from the University of Essex with an Msc in Psychology in 2013.

Ian's PhD from the University of East Anglia explores how different altruistic behaviours are distinguished between by observers, whether altruistic behaviours vary in relation to desirability and quality signalling, and how different behaviours are associated with empathic concern.
