Biography

Ivan is Associate Professor in Leadership and Change at Norwich Business School. He is also joint Head of the ESI Departmental Group.

Ivan has taught in higher education since 2008, and continues to lecture at the University of Cambridge and UEA.  At UEA, he leads and teaches on a range of modules around the topics of organisational behaviour, leadership and change management.

Ivan is passionate about bringing learning to life and keeping it relevant. To this end, he is also Co-Founder of the pioneering social enterprise and app, Ryze, that brings learning to life through creative media and the Ryze app (www.ryze.org.uk). 

Ivan's research interests span a range of areas in occupational psychology, including leadership, business transformation, work-life balance, trust, psychological contracts and workplace relationships.  He also has research interests in teaching and learning, particularly related to digital technologies. 

Since working in higher education, Ivan has won several awards for research and teaching excellence.  He has also engaged consultancy work with leading global companies. Please contact Ivan if you would like to discuss consultancy with him. 

Qualifications: BA (hons), PGCert, MSc, PhD.  He is also a fellow of the HEA.
