My research interest is the process of transformation from developing to developed countries and the role of institutions in this process.

Currently, I am working on a new theoretical framework that will evaluate the different institutional models of developing to mid-income developed countries and which one is best for promoting innovation. Furthermore, I am interested in the role of the idea and concept of Technocracy, established at the beginning of the XXth century in this process.
