Personal profile
Biography
I am a PhD student in the COAS division of the ENV department, studying tropical meteorology. From within my broad Earth Sciences background, my main research interests centre around weather and climate, physical oceanography and geophysics.
I am presently working with large gridded satellite-derived data sets to study the observed daily cycle of weather over Indonesia and the surrounding area, and how this cycle interacts with lower frequency tropical weather systems. I have also spent part of my PhD studying how wind and rain at the ocean surface can be measured indirectly via ocean acoustics.
