Jaejoon Lee is Senior Lecturer in the School of Computing Sciences from January 2020. Before coming to UEA, he was Lecturer at Lancaster University in Lancaster, UK, and worked as Scientist and Project Manager at Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering (IESE) in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He also worked as Associate Researcher at the R&D Centre of LG Electronics in South Korea. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering, an MS in Computer and Communications Engineering, both from POSTECH in South Korea, and a BS in Mathematics from Sogang University in South Korea.
Key Research Interests
Jaejoon’s current research interests include Digital Health, Software Product Line Engineering (SPLE) and Internet of Things (IoT). In particular, his research focuses on software architecture design to increase dependability and flexibility of IoT services by using machine-learning techniques in the digital health domain. As for his background, he has been working in the field of SPLE for over twenty years and he is one of the leading researchers in the field. He has a track record of applying software engineering research in industry and publishing in journals and at major conferences. He is the program co-chair of the second IEEE Digital Health as a Service Symposium (DHAASS) in Beijing, China, 2020.
